FAQs

  • Do you specialize in certain industries?

I primarily specialize in professional service industries, including but not limited to: Legal, Finance, Marketing, and Consulting. I've also worked with some individuals in creative fields, such as product design. If you're interested in my help and aren't sure whether I'm the right fit, feel free to contact me with questions and/or schedule a free consultation!

  • What will I receive with the resume packages?

For packages focused on revising existing resumes, you'll receive a redlined (track changes) version of your resume along with a clean copy--both in Word. For brand new resumes, you'll receive a Word document draft that we can then tweak to get to that final copy. I will also provide a PDF copy once we have completed revisions. Upon request, I can complete any resume work in Google Docs rather than in Word.

  • Will we stay in touch during my job search?

I love seeing progress updates from my clients! At any point, we can also discuss potential add-on or custom packages that may help you refine your search.

  • Do you have any guarantees about my success?

My goal is to ensure you feel confident throughout every step of your search by fine tuning your communication skills (both written and oral). That said, due to the inherently individualized nature of job applications and role requirements, I cannot guarantee that you'll necessarily secure any particular job.

  • Can you help with my application to Google?

Unfortunately, due to conflict of interest rules, I cannot work with clients seeking employment at Google or similar tech companies. That said, my experiences translate well across many industries and will be effective for companies both big and small.

  • You're an attorney--can I also get legal advice?

Elevated Job Prep is purely focused on job prep services and advice. Signing up for my services in no way creates an attorney-client relationship. I am not offering any legal advice in shape or form, and I am not engaging in any legal advertising.
